Testimonials

There's a lot of excitement right now for what happens next, and it's very positive. And I think the conference has accomplished its mission to sort of galvanize this loosely organized field ... We're on the verge of launching something ... I'm just really privileged to be a part of that.

I like looking at the kind of research done in these other fields and sectors to see how they've approached it and the strengths or weaknesses of using those sorts of methods. And we can use some of that thinking ... in the kind of research that we're doing on long-term programs.

I think the biggest thing that I'm taking home ... is that I don't have to think small—that the way that I naturally think, which is very large-scale, system level change and just having a vision to make a large impact ... in addressing a certain problem, is possible.

I have connected with a number of colleagues and have learned a great deal about related work that's underway in those other sectors—work that I probably had some sense was underway without quite the level of detail that I've gained through this meeting.
